🚨 Here is a video of the shocking incident in France 😔
***After looking closely at the footage we can confirm the ear tags are Irish. The harp is clear to see. This is horrendous - over 100 calves died out of 306 because the driver fell asleep at the wheel. This industry must be stopped***

There has been a serious accident in France involving a livestock truck carrying over 300 unweaned calves, over 100 have died 😔 We think this truck may have come from Ireland, we are not sure. Reports say the driver fell asleep at the wheel. There was recently a similar accident in Ireland, where the truck overturned. It's time this was stopped Martin Heydon Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine

Despite what Bord Bia - Irish Food Board and National Dairy Council portray there are a number of dairy farms in Ireland where the cows are permanently housed, plus of course they never get to keep their calves. We need this in Ireland 🐮
